Funding and Opportunities Session for media and journalists at the Global Summit on Disinformation

The IV edition of the Global Summit on Disinformation will be held on September 18 and 19. The event is online and free, with the participation of people from more than 40 countries.

This year, the meeting will add a special space to disseminate opportunities and calls to strengthen the work of journalists, media and fact-checking initiatives to combat disinformation and promote reliable information.

Free registration

For this first edition, the European Media and Information Fund (EMIF), the European Journalism Centre (EJC), the opportunities of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), the initiatives supported by the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) and Connectas, the Latin American initiative that funds journalistic research, have already confirmed their participation in this space.

These organizations and initiatives will present the general guidelines of the funds they allocate to journalists and media, so that the participants of the Global Summit on Disinformation can be informed and take advantage of opportunities to strengthen research and projects dedicated to combating disinformation around the world.

Do not hesitate to write to us at cumbredesinfo@gmail.com if you are part of an organization that offers funding to fight disinformation and want to join this space.
