International Keynote Speakers Confirmed

With less than a month until the 4th Global Summit on Disinformation, the organizing committee announces an outstanding list of international experts who will participate in this key event in the fight against disinformation. The Summit, which will take place online and free of charge on September 18-19, will bring together leading experts to discuss the most pressing challenges in the global media landscape and the impact of disinformation.

Democracy vs. disinformation
In a year marked by elections in numerous countries, the Summit will examine the impact of disinformation on these democratic processes:

– David Agranovich (Meta): Director of Global Threat Disruption at Meta, will analyze strategies and technologies to counter electoral interference, drawing on his experience with the U.S. National Security Council.

Iria Puyosa (Atlantic Council): Will present her research on disinformation campaigns in Venezuela.

Media Observatory (Tecnológico de Monterrey): Will analyze false narratives that circulated during the elections in Mexico.

Proyecto Desconfío: Will present “The Trust Editor,” an innovative tool that uses AI to help editors detect quality issues in news before publication.
